According to the school of Islam, the family is a Holy institution, the basis of human happiness, and the foundation for a healthy society. An individual’s moral, religious, and social upbringing is shaped in the family and manifested in their behavior in socity.

Among Islamic teachings, marriage and family are highly emphasized, and marriage becomes obligatory if a person commits a sin or a prohibited act due to living unmarried (Issue 2596).

In addition to focusing on marriage, Islam emphasizes the importance of strengthening the family foundation, the responsibilities of family members, valuing each other, respecting parents, and observing the mutual rights of husband and wife.
